It is easy to apply, does not stick to your fingers as much as its Japanese counter part, resists hardening, it stays in place and it is easy to remove (it is also paintable for camoflage).AND IT IS 100% NONTOXICThe primary components utilized in the manufacturing of this product are inert inorganic minerals, water, surfactants and polyisobutylene. These materials are believed to be non-hazardous and are listed under TOSCA regulations. This product does not contain any chemicals known to the state of California (or Wisco) to cause cancer or birth defects. (Lets see the same disclosure from the "other" stuff)
At only $5 for a 4oz tub, it is worth giving it a try... And I have a feeling you won't be going back to the imported stuff !

There is not much that can go wrong with a wound putty purchase, but if you are dissatisfied within 30 days, it is returnable for a refund of the purchase price. (With the buyer paying return shipping unless there was an error on my end.)
